'Quit Smoking' classes will be offered Sept. 29 "Quit Smoking" classes will be offered beginning Tuesday, Sept. 29 on the campus of The University of South Dakota.
Subsequent classes will be held Oct. 6, 13, 20, 22, 27, Nov. 3 and 17. The group will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Coyote Student Center, Conference Room.
Dr. Lisa Vogelsang will be the presenter for these American Lung Association approved classes. The sessions will focus on skill building, good nutrition, exercise and stress management. All topics are designed to reduce both psychological and physical addiction of nicotine.
Classes are open to USD students, faculty, staff and the Vermillion community. Enrollment is limited to 25 people and the series costs $75 per person.
