Sertoma teams tip off 2nd season

Sertoma teams tip off 2nd season Sertoma fifth-sixth-grad basketball has tipped off its second season.

In the first game of the night, the Burgundy Team defeated the Blue Team 12-4.

The Burgundy Team was led by Jackie Thomas' 6 points, followed by Amber Kitto, Mara Johnson and Maggie Thorne with 2 points each.

The Blue Team was led by Kayleen Johnson and Michelle Olson with 2 points each.

In the second game of the night, Jamie Bernard hit the tying basket with 13 seconds left to send the game into overtime. The Gold Team scored 2 points to defeat the Green Team 12-10.

The Gold Team was led by Annie Carlson with 8 points, followed by Morgan Brooks and Carrie Christensen with 2 points each.

The Green Team was led by Jamie Bernard with 4 points, followed by Alisha O'Connor, Nicole Orr and Brittany Peterson with 2 points each.
