First National Bank's Students of the Month First National Bank in Vermillion announces the selection of Dulce Kickland and Zeb Lang as the Vermillion High School Students of the Month for October. Each student will receive a $100 scholarship along with recognition on a plaque in the First National Bank lobby.
Kickland's endorsement noted that she "has ALWAYS impressed me with her thought provoking and thought-out contributions in class. She is an attentive active participant who produces creative, high quality work." Along with her employment at the Coffee Shop Gallery, Kickland is able to maintain an A average with interests in science and art. She plans a career as a research scientist. Her parents are Marcella Remund and Ryan Kickland.
Zeb Lang has several athletic and academic interests including cross-country, track, National Honor Society, Boy Scouts and Math Club. "Zeb is one of the nicest, politest, hardworking young men that I have worked with. He is a leader and a positive influence to everyone he's around," according to his teacher endorsement. Lang hopes to attend Harvard University after graduation from VHS. Dr. Marlene Lang and Stephen Lang are his parents.
