Officers elected to honor society

Officers elected to honor society Officers were recently elected to Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society at South Dakota State University.

Charlotte Stensaas of Vermillion, was elected president. A human development and family studies major and sociology minor at SDSU, Stensaas is also a member of the Hobo Day Committee, Mortar Board Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and the Deans Advisory Committee.

She is a volunteer at the Brookings Domestic Abuse Shelter. A 1995 graduate of Vermillion High School, she is the daughter of Richard and Marlys Stensaas of Vermillion.
