USD students place in debate

USD students place in debate University of South Dakota students Austin J. Eich of Madison and Jesse J. Kelly of Sioux Falls placed in the National Education Debate Association (NEDA) competition held recently at Western Illinois University at Macomb, IL.

Eich, a senior political science major, finished second in the competition by working his was through six rounds of debate. Kelly, a senior political science and business major, finished in fifth place. The debate topic concerned that overemphasis of profit by corporation.
