A-team nearly defeats Chancellor The Vermillion seventh-grade boys basketball A-team started slow, but came back at the end to almost pull out a win at Chancellor on Jan. 11. The Tanagers were led by Max Swanson with 10 points, followed by Colin Prosser with 9, and Trevor Garrett with 8.
The hustle and pressure defense kept it close, and almost pulled it out, but the Tanagers fell 41-44. The Tanagers will host Brandon Valley on Tuesday, then travel to Wakonda on Thursday, Jan. 21.
