USD, SDSU split NCC swim dual

USD, SDSU split NCC swim dual South Dakota and South Dakota State split a swimming and diving dual Saturday. The USD men improved to 4-0 with a 113-82 win, and the Coyote women are 3-3 with a 90-89 loss. USD hosts Truman State, Minnesota State and Northern Colorado Friday and Saturday.

Leading the USD men were Torey Melton and Bryan Ladrow. Melton won the 200 backstroke and Ladrow claimed the 50 freestyle. Both were on the winning 400 medley relay team. Pacing the Coyote women were Kristy Healey, Sanami Fottral and Jenny Stohr. All three were on the winning 400 medley relay, while Healey won the 200 backstroke; Fottral captured the 100 freestyle; and Stohr took the 400 freestyle.
