'Evening with the Stars' features music, dinner The Vermillion High School Department of Music in cooperation with the Vermillion Music Boosters, will host the ninth annual "Evening with the VHS Music Stars," Sunday, March 7 in Wolf Auditorium at St. Agnes School.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
"Evening with the VHS Music Stars" is a showcase where the school's SDHSAA Region I solo and ensemble contest participants have another chance to perform their contest entries. The Music Department faculty believes that too often parents and friends aren't able to attend music contests to see the stu-dents' performances. "Even-
ing" gives them that opportunity and also provides the students with a chance to perform in more of a "dinner-club" setting.
Besides solo and small ensembles, entertainment will also include the VHS Show Choir and Desafinado, the VHS jazz combo.
"Evening with the VHS Music Stars" is also an evening of good food, presented by high school music students, in a warm and pleasant atmosphere, hosted by the Vermillion Music Boosters.
Come be a part of our celebration. Everyone is invited. Tickets for "Evening with the VHS Music Stars" are on sale now from any VHS music student or at Davis Pharmacy. Price for each ticket is $10. It is asked that the tickets be purchased before March 2.
There will be no tickets sold at the door. For more information contact the VHS Department of Music at 677-7035.
