Free throws clinch win for Vermillion Two free throws clinched the win for Vermillion with 24 seconds left in the game as the Tanagers rallied to edge the Canton High School varsity C-Hawks 46-45 in boys basketball Jan. 29 at home.
VHS had trailed by two going into the final period.
"Beau Blouin made 2 free throws," said VHS Coach Troy Terronez of the clinching moment.
Vermillion's Blouin scored a game high 24 points, made 6 steals and grabbed 5 rebounds.
