Jaime, 21, the daughter of Scott and Jane Hanson of Vermillion, was on her way to work in Yankton last Sept. 23 when she lost control of her vehicle on Highway 50. The vehicle rolled twice in the median and she was thrown out on the first roll.
Jaime suffered a mild concussion, a broken left collar bone and had multiple fractures in her pelvis. She was taken by air ambulance to Marian Health Center in Sioux City, IA, where she was stabilized for a week before being sent to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. There, she underwent pelvic reconstructive surgery.
Following rehabilitation for two weeks, she returned to Vermillion, but her rehab continues.
