Quilt class on paper piecing set The Clay County Extension Office is sponsoring a quilt class on a specialized technique known as paper piecing on Saturday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Extension Office.
Lunch is included in the $21 fee.
This foundation piecing technique allows quilters to accurately and easily sew quilts using small, oddly-shaped and intricate designs. Projects in this class featured two tulip designs in two-inch, four-inch and six-inch blocks that can be used to make pins, ornaments,
wall quilts or any quilt project.
Instructional hand-outs and patterns will be provided. Students supply basic sewing supplies, including a sewing machine in good working order
and fabric.
For more information or to register call Mary Waller at 624-6629 or the Extension Office at 677-7111. Payment must accompany registration.
