Perhaps Vermillion sixth-grade band instructor Dave Kulm ran afoul of an evil wizard. Or, perhaps he was simply demonstrating what some people during the Renaissance age in Europe actually claimed to have witnessed in Europe during that age. Whatever the reason, midway through the Vermillion Middle School's 1999 Renaissance Fair, Kulm was transformed into a giant, who had to be careful not to bump his head as he wandered through the commons of the school.
