Clay-Union Electric meeting slated March 30 in Gayville The 63rd annual meeting of Clay-Union Electric Cooperative will be held on Tuesday, March 30, in Gayville at the Gayville-Volin School.
Clay-Union Electric Manager Pal Roberts and Board President Dan O'Connor will provide reports to the membership on the operation of the cooperative. Rate stability, economic development and other cooperative services will be highlighted at the meeting.
Members will take action at the meeting to elect a director from District #3 to the Clay-Union Electric Board of Directors. At the Feb. 2 District Meeting, Milo Gilbertson was unanimously selected as a candidate for District #3.
Registration for the meeting will begin at 5 p.m. An evening meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. by the Wakonda Knights of Columbus and the Gayville Legion Auxiliary. The business meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m.
All registered members at the meeting will have an opportunity to win a RCA Digital Satellite System that will be drawn for at the conclusion of the meeting.
All Clay-Union Electric Cooperative members are encouraged to attend.
