Vermillion Girl Scouts celebrate Thinking Day The Vermillion Girl Scouts and their families celebrated Thinking Day on Friday, Feb. 26, at the Community Center/Armory. Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world use Thinking Day to celebrate the international existence of scouting. Each troop had a table where those attending the event could learn about a foreign country and sample foods from that country. Countries included in this year's event were Denmark, Germany, Japan, Ireland and Korea. The Scouts also collected donations of school supplies and hair care supplies to be sent to the Casa Guatemala orphanage.
