Wrestlers qualify for region tourney Twelve Vermillion wrestlers qualified to go to Canton for the regional wrestling tournament.
Michael Wingen, Tyler Thedorff, Josh Boomgaarden and Karlis Baisden participated.
J.R. Moore placed fifth, Casey Carlson placed fourth, Brad Simons placed fifth.
Placing in the top three to advance to the state tourney in Mitchell on March 20 were Adam Hasse and Chris Sinkie, both earning second place.
