Cornerstone Church will dedicate new worship center Cornerstone Church of the Assemblies of God invites the community to join in the dedication celebration of its new worship center May 1 and 2.
The new facility is located on the corner of Cherry and N. Crawford Road. There will be a special Remember Banquet on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. at the Continuing Education Building on The University of South Dakota campus.
Rev. Arden Adamson, executive secretary of the Assemblies of God in Wisconsin and a former resident of Vermillion, will be the guest speaker. The evening will feature many former pastors as well as a history of the church in pictures. The cost of the ticket is $6 per person and you can make reservations by calling the church office at 624-8809.
The dedication service will be held on Sunday, May 2 at 2:30 p.m. The special guest speaker is Rev. David Nelson, district superintendent of the Assemblies of God in South Dakota. Special music will be provided by the Cornerstone singers and worship team.
Following the dedication service, refreshments will be served and there will be an open house for all who want to see the building.
