Will speak South Dakota Speaker of the House Roger Hunt will be the featured speaker at the Elephant Club's banquet, scheduled for Monday, April 26, at the Eagle's Club in Vermillion. The event, designed to honor District 17 legislators, will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. The meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. Hunt, an attorney from Brandon, has served in the South Dakota House of Representatives since 1991. He represents District 10, and besides his duties as speaker of the house, he also is chairman of the Legislative Procedures Committee, vice chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and a member of the State Affairs Committee.
