Matthew Williams to host Lewis and Clark program Matthew Williams, a Boy Scout of Troop 66, is holding a program in celebration of the Lewis and Clark bicentennial on May 23, sponsored by the W.H. Over Museum.
The program will be for children in grades two through six. The event will include numerous activities such as coloring projects, construction projects and games. There will also be a storyteller and refreshments for the participants.
The children will have a chance to learn about individuals in the Lewis and Clark expedition, equipment that they brought along, the transportation methods that they used, the Native Americans that the expedition encountered, and many other aspects of the journey.
The event will start at 2 p.m., and will be held at the W.H. Over Museum, located across from the DakotaDome.
