O'Connor will attend Buena Vista Carolyn O'Connor, a 1999 graduate of Vermillion High School, Vermillion, S.D., has been accepted for admission at Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, IA.
The daughter of William and Paula O'Connor, Burbank, O'Connor plans to major in political science. She also indicated an interest in participating in softball at the college level.
Buena Vista University is becoming the nations leading New American College by building leaders. BVU already has in place many of the characteristics of the New American College and prepares students to face challenges in an information-driven, global community. BVU students take traditional liberal arts courses that establish a foundation for successful careers, successful lives and leadership and service in their communities. On its way to becoming the nation's leading New American College, Buena Vista University will continue 'Education for Service' for 1,385 undergraduate and graduate students on its main campus in Storm Lake plus and additional 1,375 students at 17 branch sites throughout Iowa.
O'Connor will begin her freshman year of college this fall.
