USD student teachers wrap up assignments Students at The University of South Dakota are finishing their teacher education experience through student teaching during spring semester.
The students began their assignments on Feb. 15 and will continue through May 7. Students are teaching at several levels, including kindergarten, elementary and secondary. All education students are required to teach for at least one semester. Special education majors spend two semesters student teaching.
