EMT course completed recently

EMT course completed recently Avera Mckennan School of Emergency Medical Services announces that Michael Wildermuth, Jamie Tigort, Hiedi Page, Karla Nygren, Heidi Gillen, Kari Christensen and Andrew Binder, all of Vermillion, and Leasa McDonald, Gayville, has completed the school's Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate course. The course consists of 48 hours of classroom followed with 30 hours of Emergency Room clinical and 36 hours of ride time with an advanced life support ambulance. Intermediate EMT's specialize in IV skills, advanced airway techniques, and advanced patient assessment.

The completion of this course demonstrates their commitment to providing quality advanced level emergency care to people in the region.
