Hoffman elected as ACAC president-elect Stephanie Hoffman, assistant director of admission at The University of South Dakota, recently was chosen president-elect by the Dakota Association for College Admission Counseling (Dakota ACAC) in the past Dakota ACAC election. Hoffman's three-year term will start July 1, 1999.
Dakota ACAC is a regional affiliate to the National Association for College Admission Counseling. Dakota ACAC represents North and South Dakota. The organization strives toward implementing innovative programs and confronting issues related to counseling and admission in secondary schools, colleges and universities.
Founded in 1937, NACAC represents more than 6,600 members who represent secondary schools, colleges and universities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and more than 25 foreign countries. Members focus on the development of counseling programs and services for admission and financial assistance that would eliminate bias at any level.
