Local Legion team is undefeated in tourney by Jim Prosser In the first game of the third session Tea�s team gained some measure of revenge when, after trailing 12 to 4 in the sixth inning, they scored seven runs aided by four Elk Point errors, three hits, and two walks; then scored two runs in the seventh to escape with a victory in the tournament.

In the second game of the third session, the winning pitcher was Eric Holoch who struck out six, walked four and gave up one run on four hits with another �complete game� effort for the team. Four runs in each of the first and second innings, followed by seven runs in the third pretty much determined the champion of the tournament.

Aaron Baedke led the scoring with three for four hits and four runs. Everyone contributed to the victory!

Elk Point 1 4 6 Winning Pitcher: Holoch in five innings.

Losing Pitcher: David Hanson in four innings.

Vermillion Post #1 finished with a 3-0 record in the tournament. Beresford Post #72 went two and one and Tea won one and lost two.

Elk Point Post #134 went zero and three. The season record for Post #1 now stands at 9-10.

Saturday-Sunday, June 26-27, Vermillion will be at South Sioux City, NE for a tournament.
