Local students receive degrees The University of Sioux Falls conferred 227 degrees to its graduating class on May 23 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Fifty-nine master's degrees and 168 bachelor's degrees were awarded during the commencement service.
Vermillion graduates included: Nancy Hall, bachelor's in management; Jessica Swick, bachelor's in elementary education; and Dawn Nelson, bachelor's in management.
The University of Sioux Falls is a four-year Christian liberal arts university offering 29 major fields of study and advanced degree options to traditional and non-traditional students. The university has been located in Sioux Falls for more than 116 years and is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches.
