Stockland receives SDSU scholarship Darcey Stockland, Vermillion, has been named a recipient of the William and Byrne Griffith Scholarship given by the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences for the 1999-2000 school year at South Dakota State University.
Stockland will be a senior pre-med/microbiology major at SDSU this fall. She is the daughter of David and JoAnn Stockland of Vermillion and a 1995 graduate of Vermillion High School. At SDSU she is active in Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key National Honor Society, marching and symphonic band, and University Lutheran Center.
