Harrisburg falls to Vermillion in tourney Harrisburg was trailing 8-3 in the fourth inning when they came up with four runs to make the game interesting and ignited Vermillion's Post #1 offense to respond with three runs in the fifth and four in the sixth innings.
Homeruns were hit by four different batters for Post #1: Aaron Baedke � one RBI; Tim Broderson � two RBIs; Tom Dorcey � three RBIs; and Matt Knutson � three RBIs (to close out the game and make him the winning pitcher of a complete game).

Harr. 10 8 8 Knutson helped his cause by scoring four runs on three for five batting and being on base five times. Baedke also scored four runs on four hits (in six trips to the plate).
Dorcey went five for six in hits scoring three and driving in six runs. Nick Mayer batted .500 and scored three runs, and Jay Merrigan was two for four with one RBI and two scores.
Tim Broderson scored twice, going two for five including his homerun. Jason Madsen and Troy Rickord were on base with singles when Knutson hit his eighth inning homer to invoke the 10-run rule again.
