Iverson receives grant-in-aid award Kirstin Iverson, daughter of Bob and Linda Iverson of Vermillion, has been chosen to receive the Delta Kappa Gamma grant-in-aid award for 1999-2000.
The Eta (Vermillion) chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international organization of women educators, gives this award annually to a young woman who plans a career in an educational setting. The recipient is selected on the basis of academic achievement, career potential and character.
Iverson, a senior at The University of South Dakota, is an elementary education major. Her career plans include teaching in an elementary classroom and achieving a master's degree in administration.
