Loss to Beresford ends Post #1's season Vermillion led 6-4 in the sixth inning when Beresford's Jake Erickson hit a two-run homer to tie it up and two batters later M. Farley had a home run.
Post #1 scored twice in the seventh on James Ofstehage's home run, but Beresford took the lead with five runs and ended Vermillion's hope to play in the state tournament.
