Around the town By Bonnie Sorensen This time of year Vermillion is in full swing. USD students are moving in for the year. As business people and residents, let's extend a warm welcome to our students as they settle into the community for the 1999-2000 school year. Each year the Chamber of Commerce coordinates, for our members, a "Welcome to Vermillion" packet introducing new and returning students to our Chamber businesses and community. Thank you to Janis Shaner, Ambassador chair, and staff of First Dakota National Bank for collating the packets and to all our volunteers from Hy-Vee, Abbott Travel, Century 21-French Real Estate, LDS Missionaries and individuals for your support.
