Baldwin promoted to department chair Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) announces new promotions for the 1999-2000 school year.
Dr. Carryl L. Baldwin was promoted to department chair for social and behavioral sciences at WITCC. Baldwin will be responsible for management and coordination of the department including hiring, supervision and evaluation of staff, course scheduling, management of budget and all department correspondence. She has been a psychology instructor and program advisor at WITCC for four years.
Baldwin, of Meckling, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska, her master's degree from The University of South Dakota and her doctorate of philosophy from The University of South Dakota.
Dr. Baldwin will be presenting a research paper in September at the National Human Factors and Ergonomics Conference in Houston, TX. She has also been invited to submit her research for presentation at the Third Annual International Symposium on Cognition, Education and Mental Health in December at Banaras Hindu University in Varanas, India.
