Annual Gray-Gregg picnic held The annual Gray-Gregg picnic was held Sunday, Aug. 15 at Prentis Park in Vermillion for all descendants of Edmond Sherman Gray with Elsie Stibral and Bonnie Pearson as hosts.
Attending were: Jeanne Peterson, Elmer and Gladys Rasmussen, Delores Gregg, Curt, Sarah, John and Patrick Gregg, Donald and Grace Gregg all of Vermillion; Roger and Ethel Dover, Madison; Kathy, Denis, Denise, and Dustin Wendte and Michael Gries of South Sioux City, NE; Debra, Alicia and Alyssa Gregg, Elk Point; Melissa and Lorin Gregg, Jefferson; Cheri Brommer, Yankton; Jeff Walz, Gayville; Roger and Avis Walz, Alcester; Cory, Loretta, Jordan and Kylie Jorgenson, Wakonda; Norman, Carol, Gabe, Julie Tramp and Matt Williams of Wynot, NE; Jerri Gregg, Wayne, NE; Joyce Asmussen, Ponca, NE; Richard, Pam and Amber Pearson, Duane and Bonnie Pearson and Elsie Stibral of Sioux Falls; Donald Lancrain, Virginia Beach, VA; Joyce and Dale Orr, Meckling; and Janice Daggett, Hawarden, IA.
Elmer Rasmussen was the oldest descendent and Kylie Jorgensen was the youngest. Alicia and Alyssa Gregg were the first set of twins to attend this reunion.
The Gray-Gregg picnic is held the third Sunday of August every year and will be held in Vermillion at Prentis Park on Aug. 20, 2000 with Joyce and Dale Orr and Janice and James Daggett as hosts.
