More Christmas activity books have been added to our collection. Christmas with Country Living Magazine, is full of crafts, decorating ideas, with new and exciting recipes for the holidays.

Make it Merry: a Medley of Christmas Crafts from Craft Magazine includes colored illustrations, patterns and step-by-step instructions for a variety of Christmas ideas.

A third book from Women's Day Magazine is presented in periodical format. Christmas Crafts: 74 Great Gifts to Make Ahead introduces instructions for keepsake cards, table decorations, paper craft revival, all-natural wreaths, and beaded ornaments. These great holiday ideas are taken from America's best craft fairs and festivals.


Adult Computer Classes will start with INTRODUCTION TO THE INTERNET. There are still openings on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1 to 3 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 23, 7 to 9 p.m.

An OPEN LAB is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 28, 7 to 9 p.m. This lab is for new and former students who need assistance. An instructor will be available to answer questions.

Fall storytime registration at the library after Sept. 1. Stop by or call for information at 677-7060. Toddler story-time hours: Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Preschool story-time hours: Saturday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m.

The toy lending library has many new additions to the collection. The new toys are geared to infants and toddlers. Ask for the toy lending notebook for pictures of the entire collection.

A student's study center located in the Children's Activity Room will start Sept. 21 for all school-age children. A certified teacher along with volunteers will help students when the center is open, after school, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
