"Lincoln is such a deep, strong team and it is always enjoyable playing such good tennis players," said coach Barb Rickord "It is also a good warm-up for the state tournament and I was proud of how the Vermillion girls played. Anna was disappointed not to play Lincoln's top player, Tara Houlihan she is out with a shoulder injury but is expected to play at state. As we expected, at the seeding session, members of the VHS tennis team who rated recognition for their season records were: Anna Ristic #3 seed, Vanessa Noonan #6 seed, and Ristic/Ristic were seeded #7 in doubles for the South Dakota High School State Girls Tennis Tournament in Sioux Falls Oct. 7-9."
