USD golf team defeats Morningside South Dakota posted a 395-448 victory over Morningside Saturday in women's golf action at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion. The Coyotes were led by Jenny Chandler with an 88. Nora Remily (97), Julia Middendorf (104) and Jennifer Crane (106) made up the rest of USD's team.
In men's action Saturday at The Bluffs, Dordt defeated the Coyotes, 319-322. USD's top scorer was Jason Pease with a 79, followed by Jeremy Scott (80), Josh Wendling (81) and Jeremy Hitt (82).
The University of South Dakota competes in the North Central Conference meet Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Sioux Falls.
