USD redshirt freshmen gain experience at Mount Marty

USD redshirt freshmen gain experience at Mount Marty Four of The University of South Dakota mens cross country team traveled to Yankton, to compete unattached in the Sixth annual Mount Marty College Invitational.

Jered Harns of Rock Springs, WY continued to improve this season with a 20th placing (27:02) out of 116 harriers from 13 teams. Adam Riddle, Eden Prarie, MN, finished 50th (27:59), Mike Burke, Blue Springs, MO, finished 53rd (28:06), and Harvey Coble, Council Bluffs, IA, finished 58th with a time of 28:21.

Graduate student Stef Senn was the only female from USD to compete. Senn, who has only one indoor season left for eligibility, ran unattached, placing eighth with a time of 19:03. There were 15 womens teams competing in the race.

Four time All-American graduate Chad Feeldy continues to make his presence known with a second place finish overall (25:46). Feeldy continues to train with the Coyote men in route to the Olympic 1500 meter trials next year.
