Vermillion man joins senator's staff U.S. Senator Tim Johnson has announced that Vermillion person, Mitchell Stewart of Vermillion has joined his Sioux Falls office as a staff assistant.
"I am pleased to have Mitchell join my South Dakota staff," Johnson said, "He will work with South Dakotans and government agencies on individual concerns and problems."
In addition to constituent duties, Stewart will also work with various communities and report to Johnson on federal issues important to local officials and citizens.
Stewart recently graduated from The University of South Dakota in Vermillion with a bachelor of science in biology and a double minor in chemistry and history.
