Birth Logan Karl Melstad was born on Oct. 31, 1999 at 7:14 p.m. at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton. He weighed 7 lbs, 1/2 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Proud parents are Korry and Deborah Melstad of Vermillion. Grandparents are Howard and Norma Melstad, Vermillion and Douglas and Linda (Wek) Hai, Brookings. Great-grand parents are Lorena "Babe" and the late Henry "Hank" Mayer, Watertown, the late Carl and Martha Melstad, Lake Preston, Lawrence and Marilyn Wek, Menno, and Harvey and the late Veryl Hai, Brookings.
