Museum will host evening of history The Friends of the W.H. Over Museum will host an evening of history, "Vermillion Before the Flood of 1881" with Circuit Court Judge Art Rusch.
A long-time Vermillion resident, Judge Rusch is a graduate of the USD Law School. His presentation is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the museum's Sletwold Hall.
This is the third annual fundraising and membership dinner held by the Friends to highlight the W.H. Over Museum and its place in the community. Judge Rusch will illustrate his talk about the illustrious period of Vermillion's history with seldom-seen pictures reprinted from the museum's collection.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a potluck dinner (bring a dish to serve eight or $5), and the program at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Please call the museum office, 605-677-5228 for reservations and for further information.
