Patriotism is alive and well in America today, just as much so as the night Paul Revere made his famous ride calling America to arms. The act of being patriotic isn't as a rule a loud and boisterous act, but is evident in small, quiet ways. Up and down the streets of Vermillion, the U.S. colors are proudly flown from the flag poles of many business and residential properties. Jerry is a Vietnam veteran who was born and raised in Vermillion. He is the son of Gordon and Delphine Anderson. (Photo by Bill Willroth Sr.)
