Quilted gifts class is Nov. 20 Classes on making quilted Christmas stockings and quilted zippered bags will be offered at the Clay County Extension Office on Saturday, Nov. 20.
Both classes feature quick and easy projects that would make great Christmas gifts. The projects are constructed entirely on the sewing machine and are suitable for beginning quilters.
Mary Waller will teach the Christmas stocking class from 9 a.m. to noon. Krisma DeWitt will teach the zippered bag class from 1 to 4 p.m.
Hand-outs and patterns will be provided. Students provide fabric and basic sewing supplies. Sewing machines are available for class use reserving them in advance. The fee for each class in $15. Lunch will be provided.
