USD swim team sweeps SDSU Oct. 29 at Dome South Dakota defeated South Dakota State in NCC swimming and diving Friday.
The USD men won, 124-77, and the Coyote women posted a 112-67 victory.
Sara Hamlet won both the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle, and she was on the winning 400 medley relay. Robyn Chris-singer claimed the 800 freestyle and 200 breaststroke, while Sara Pokela captured the 200 backstroke and she was on the 400 medley relay as well. Torey Melton led the USD men. He won the 200 freestyle, the 200 butterfly and he was on the winning 400 medley relay.
David Nelson took the 50 freestyle and Tyler Hartl won the 200 individual medley, and both were also on the 400 medley relay.
The Coyotes were in Mankato, MN Saturday for a double-dual. The USD men defeated Augustana (IL), 158-53, and the Coyote women won, 132-90. Minnesota State-Mankato defeated the USD women, 122-96. David Molesworth led the Coyotes winning the 100 backstroke and swimming on the first-place 200 medley relay, while Melton won the 400 IM and the 500 freestyle.
For the women, Chrissinger claimed the 500 freestyle and 400 IM. Pokela was on the winning 200 medley relay and she won the 100 butterfly.
