USD volleyball team falls in season finale South Dakota finished the 1999 volleyball season last Tuesday with a 3-0 loss to Morningside by the scores of 15-8, 15-12, 15-12.
USD closed 4-32 overall and 0-18 in the North Central Conference. Leading the Coyotes were Nikki Daggitt and Brooke Lundine with eight kills apiece. Lisa Roberts had 30 setting assists, while Leslie Fusinato and Daggitt had seven digs apiece.
It was the final USD match for Daggitt and Roberts � the two seniors for the Coyotes. Daggitt concluded her Coyote career as the all-time leader in kills with 1,173, while Roberts owns USD's career mark for setting assists with 3,818.
