With Christmas so close can New Year's Eve be far away? Celebrate Vermillion, a non-alcoholic, family oriented New Year's Eve, is being held Dec. 31 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight at the Coyote Student Center and the DakotaDome. Admission is $2 and all activities are free. The CSC will have music, karaoke, a balloon drop with prize-filled balloons, a bridge tournament, a kids' carnival including face painting, bean bag toss, story telling and lots more. The DakotaDome will offer swimming, basketball, bouncy boxing, and car-racing games to mention a few! A shuttle bus will be available between the Dome and the CSC. At midnight there will be a fireworks show as we ring in the New Year! The evening will be a great way for family and friends to celebrate the end of the 1900s and the beginning of the new millennium.
Have a terrific week and hope you take time to enjoy the beautiful holiday decorations throughout our community.
