DARE Report By Officer Chad Gillen Having positive role models This week in D.A.R.E. your students had some very special guests! Several students from Vermillion High School were selected as "role models" and spent some time answering questions from the D.A.R.E. students. The drug-free high school students cleared up the misconception that drug users are in the majority and served as positive role models by influencing the students not to use drugs.
Listed below are several topics for discussion to help you reinforce what your child learned:
* List at least one thing that the high school role models said that could help you stay drug-free.
* Name one activity that you can look forward to participating in when you attend high school.
Please feel free to contact me if you wish to attend your child's D.A.R.E. class: Officer Chad J. Gillen, Vermillion Police Department, phone 677-7070.
