Leading the Coyotes was junior Kelly Koepp, who nearly notched a triple double. She set a school record for points in a game with 38 along with 10 rebounds and eight assists. Koepp was 16-for-21 from the field.
The previous school scoring mark of 37 points was shared by Jodi Beavers (1995 vs. Morningside), Amy Heller (1991 vs. Mount Marty) and Ann Pancoast (1984 vs. North Dakota State).
The Coyotes, who shot 51.4 percent for the game, got 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals from Heather Nelson. Julia Frie finished with 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Nicole Jaycox had nine points and two steals.
