Piece by piece Employees of Modern Farm Systems, owned and operated by Greg Erickson of Vermillion, were busy this week putting up the steel frame of the new retail building, that, when completed, will be attached to Jones' Food Center. Employees of Modern Farm Systems, owned and operated by Greg Erickson of Vermillion, were busy this week putting up the steel frame of the new retail building, that, when completed, will be attached to Jones' Food Center. The structure will house an Ace Hardware store. The city of Vermillion also plans to move its municipal liquor store from its present downtown location to the new building. It is believed that the store's location, just a block north of Cherry Street, will attract more customers.
