St. Lucia Festival set Dec. 12 The Dalesburg Scandinavian Association will host the St. Lucia Festival Sunday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. at Dalesburg Lutheran Church, 30595 University Road.
The St. Lucia Festival is a traditional Scandinavian celebration of the Christmas season and it reflects a love of light and the Christmas spirit.
The event will feature the Lucia Court, a Scandinavian program and Scandinavian food. The public is invited to attend. There will be a freewill offering.
The Dalesburg Lutheran Church is located 12 miles north of Vermillion on University Road, or five and one-half miles west of Exit 38 on I-29.
