Students gain experience Students in The University of South Dakota School of Education are gaining on-the-job experience through student teaching assignments at area schools this fall.
The students began their assignments October and will continue through December. Students are teaching at kindergarten, elementary and secondary levels. All education students are required to student teach for at least one semester. Special education majors spend two semesters student teaching.
