VHS gymnasts win at West Central meet Winter arrived a week early on the tail of 35 straight days of higher than normal temperatures. With it came wet snow and slippery roads and a gymnastics dual meet at West Central High School for the Tanager team on Tuesday, Dec. 14.
"It was an interesting meet Tuesday night," said Coach Mark Upward. "One judge ended up in a ditch on the way to the meet, so we had three judges instead of four. We didn't look sharp at all, but we were able to perform well enough to win."
