Joy named to Midland dean’s list

Joy named to Midland dean's list Midland Lutheran College, Fremont, NE, named 260 students to the dean's list for the fall 1999 semester, including 92 with distinction, according to Dr. Donald Kahnk, vice president for academic affairs and academic dean. Jeannine Joy, Vermillion, was named to the dean's list with distinction.

Students named to the dean's list must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5. Those named to the dean's list with distinction are in the top 10 percent of the student body, having earned a minimum grade point average of 3.88. All students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours on the A-F grading system during the semester to qualify.

Midland Lutheran College is a four-year, liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Students choose from nearly 50 majors and pre-professional programs.
